The EURHOBOP Project

EURHOBOP was intended to provide the European Community with valid standardized and adjusted benchmarking tools that permit European hospitals to monitor their outcomes in key procedures used in coronary artery disease.

EURHOBOP made it possible to benchmark hospital performance, which is considered a key instrument to guarantee and improve the quality of health care delivered to European citizens.

Collaborating partners
The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) has been cooperating with the project since February 2012. EURHOBOP selected 70 hospitals representing 7 countries to participate with extensive data collection (Associated collaborating partners). Any European hospital is welcome to collaborate by providing data for at least 200 consecutive patients (Affiliated collaborating partners). Both types of hospital participation will be duly recognized.
